Welcome to KPC Brisbane

Welcome to Kunzang Palyul Chöling, Tibetan Buddhist centers in the Nyingma tradition under the spiritual direction of Jetsunma Ahkön Lhamo with locations in Brisbane, Australia, Poolesville, Maryland and Sedona, Arizona, USA.

KPC is a diverse group of people from many parts of the world who practice Tibetan Buddhism, aspiring to lead a life of compassion. The source of our inspiration is the life and teachings of Jetsunma Ahkön Lhamo, our spiritual teacher who skillfully guides us to awaken to our innate Buddha nature.

At the core of all we do is a 24-hour prayer vigil for peace that has continued unbroken for 19 years in our prayer center in Poolesville, Maryland and nearly 5 years in our center in Sedona, Arizona. We also support several compassionate outreach programs that appeal to Buddhists and non Buddhists alike.

KPC centers are always open to everyone around the clock and serve as places of peace and spiritual refuge, complete with the wish-fulfilling power of fully consecrated stupas.

Our collective mission is to end the suffering of all beings by engaging in the sacred tradition of the Bodhisattva, a path of wisdom and compassion that lay hidden in Tibet for centuries.
